Third Act. Climate. Zoom mtg.

Third Act is an organization founded by life long climate advocate Bill McKibben. It is for people 60 years old and over with the goals of fighting climate change and promoting democracy. The concept is that over 10,000 people are turning 60 every day. And this growing group of people have knowledge, time, and experience and wisdom that comes with age. And they vote. All of this combined results in a powerful group of people, and we want to leverage that power for the good.

Third Act was founded in 2021, and the Texas chapter was created in June of 2024. Texas has been divided into four regions, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and Dallas/Fort Worth. Al Hemmelgarn leads the Dallas/Fort Worth region, and has monthly update meetings scheduled for the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
