We believe that LGBTQ+ individuals are created in the image of the Divine and are deserving of full inclusion within faith communities, culture, and society.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to provide inclusive, affirming, and celebratory interfaith services, educational opportunities, programs, and resources that uplift and support the LGBTQ+ community in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
We strive to amplify LGBTQ+ voices and stories while actively advocating for equality and rights.

In the wake of the Texas Supreme Court decision to allow judges to opt out of performing same sex marriages without penalty, our action team leader Cantor Sheri Allen has drafted a letter to be signed by clergy throughout Texas. The letter will be sent to the Texas Supreme Court, LGBTQ advocacy organizations, and various media contacts.
If you are clergy, please add your name to the list of signatories by emailing Cantor Allen: cantorsheri@gmail.com Let her know how you’d like your name and your title to appear, your city and state, and the name of the congregation you are currently serving. The Google doc for this letter will remain live.
And if you know of any clergy in Texas who might also be interested in signing on, please forward them this statement.
This action team is dedicated to holding the Tarrant County Jail, Commissioners Court, and other institutions accountable.
Special Initiatives:
Our team studies the incarceration of people with mental illness or intellectual disabilities. We collaborate with the Texas Jail Project for necessary legal reforms. We also aim to understand the county’s unclear budget process and push for more transparency.
Public Advocacy:
We regularly deliver comments at Commissioners Court meetings to ensure that community concerns are heard.
Direct Communication:
We host letter-writing campaigns and teach advocates about submitting online comments to key officials.
State-Level Engagement:
Our team members travel to Austin to attend meetings of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards.
Collaboration with Leaders:
We meet with officials and other partner organizations to advocate for meaningful reforms.
Research and Analysis:
Members of our action team conduct in-depth investigations to bring critical issues to light.
